We finished up at Trump National for music, drink, lunch, prizes and awards.
2008 - Murder on the Peninsula

2008 Rallye participants were challenged with a murder on the scenic Palos Verdes Peninsula. But who was the victim? And who done it? Navigating the stunning coastline and environs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula is a treat on any day, but it was even more fun when the mystery began.
Participants in the 2008 Tour d’Epicure Road Rallye began their day at The Promenade on the Peninsula. They soon discovered that a body had been found. After a briefing on the case by Detective Sawyer Black the chase was on. A little later, drivers found themselves returning to the scene of the crime for the Parade of Autos through the center of The Promenade.
Investigators passed through such Peninsula landmark locales as Lunada bay, Malaga Cove, Riviera Village, Portuguese Bend, and the Esplanade… but only if they are able to follow the clues! The culmination was held at prestigious Trump National Golf Club where lunch was served on grassy knolls under sunny skies, while overlooking the shimmering Pacific Ocean.
